Ferrari’s $5 million hybrid hypercar arrives in Australia for the Grand Prix

Ferrari Australasia has kicked off the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix with the local debut of its multi-million-dollar 1200hp (882kW) F80 hypercar, with guest appearances by F1 drivers Sir Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.

The 2025 Ferrari F80 was unveiled to guests at a pre-race event held at Casa Ferrari, the brand’s exclusive trackside venue at Albert Park in Melbourne.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 hybrid drivetrain based on the architecture of Ferrari’s Le Mans-winning race car, the F80 boasts outputs of 882.35kW (1200hp) and 1100Nm+.

That makes it good for a 0-100km/h run in just 2.15 seconds and 0-200km/h in 5.75 seconds.
